English Translation

In the beginning there was nothing — only darkness and silence. From this primordial void, the first stirrings of creation arose. Wind came first, then water, then earth. The mountains rose from the waters, and forests covered the land. Birds filled the sky, fish filled the rivers, and animals roamed the forests. Finally, from the sacred elements, the first human beings were created. Yuma Sammang, the great mother, breathed life into them and taught them how to live in harmony with all beings.
